 This week Bytes by MSDN and Me bring to you Jeffrey Palermo.  Jeffrey Palermo is the CTO of Headspring Systems. Jeffrey specializes in Agile management coaching and helps companies double the productivity of software teams. He is instrumental in the Austin software community as a member of AgileAustin and a director of the Austin .NET User Group. Jeffrey has been recognized by Microsoft as a "Microsoft Most Valuable Professional" (MVP) for technical and community leadership. He is also certified as a MCSD.NET and ScrumMaster. Jeffrey has spoken and facilitated at industry conferences such as VSLive, DevTeach, and Microsoft Tech·Ed. He also speaks to user groups around the country as part of the INETA Speakers' Bureau. His Web sites are headspringsystems.com and jeffreypalermo.com. He is a graduate from Texas A&M University, an Eagle Scout, and an Iraq war veteran. Jeffrey is the founder of the CodeCampServer open-source project and a co-founder of the MvcContrib project.

This week Bytes by MSDN Geoffrey Emery  brings to you Don Box.  Don Box is a Distinguished Engineer at Microsoft working on declarative languages and tools to simplify developing applications and services. In that role, Don is involved in creating languages, frameworks, and end-to-end experiences to help people translate their intentions and desires for software into a machine readable and executable form. Don joined Microsoft in 2002 as an architect of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), where he worked on software to enable programs to safely and securely inter-operate with one another. Don's responsibilities included both the design and architecture of the run-time stack, as well as interoperability protocols with IBM and other partners.

With a degree in Physics/Computer Science/Mathematics from Central Michigan University, he has been awarded for his development of operating systems to real-time machine control and CAD solutions in aerospace to business solutions utilizing advanced Microsoft technologies.
He is now tenured in strategy and innovation consulting and advocates aligning business strategies with technological solutions using smart client, portal, and integration technologies in his principal role as Chief Software Architect and Partner at Metrics Reporting, Inc.
Having a passion for the advancement of higher education, Jim participates on an advisory boards at Central Michigan University, the Microsoft Certified Architect review board, and is a member of the International Association of Software Architects Architecture Training Council. He is also a 2006 CMU Distinguished Alumni award recipient.

Jim is a regular speaker at SharePoint user groups, IASA events, Microsoft SAF, TechReady, & TechEd as well as Channel 9 broadcasts.

He sits on the board of several start-ups including Triton Works and is also a certified scrum master. Prior he was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and co-founder of Corzen, Inc, a New York based provider of online market research data for Wall Street Firms. Corzen was acquired by Wanted Technologies (TXV: WAN) in 2007. Stephen is also the Microsoft Regional Director for the NY Metro region and speaks regularly at industry conferences around the world. He has written several books on application and database development including Programming SQL Server 2008 (MS Press). Prior to Corzen, Stephen served as the CTO of Zagat Survey in New York City and also was co-founder of the New York based software consulting firm The Aurora Development Group. He currently an MVP, INETA speaker and is the co-moderator and founder of the NYC .NET Developer User Group. Stephen has an MBA from the City University of New York.

He has a consulting practice in Nashville, TN, focusing on healthcare applications, advanced rule-driven architectures, and advanced user interface prototyping and development. He also offers introductory and advanced training classes on WPF and Silverlight. He is the author of a forthcoming book on WPF.
